WHAT IS INFANT MASSAGE?

Infant Massage is stroking your baby’s whole body in a loving and nurturing way, using a natural oil. It can be done from birth and continued as your child grows.

International Association of Infant Massage

The IAIM was founded in the 1980’s by Vimala McClure, author of Infant Massage - A Handbook for Loving Parents. The IAIM has Chapters in most countries, including South Africa. IAIM Certified Infant Massage Instructors receive intensive, specialised training of the highest standard, and the qualification is internationally recognised.

IAIM Mission Statement:

The purpose of the IAIM is to promote nurturing touch and communication through training, education and research so that parents, caregivers and children are loved, valued and respected throughout the world community.

Instructors

of the IAIM teach baby massage courses for parents, in groups or individually. Ensure that you attend classes presented by a fully qualified member of the International Association of Infant Massage.
